2. The instant application has been filed praying for modification of the order dated 2.9.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 55617 of 2024.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by the aforesaid order dated 2.9.2024, the petitioner was enlarged on anticipatory bail in connection with Mohania P.S. Case no. 158 of 2024 with a direction for him to surrender in the learned trial Court within a period of four weeks. Though the petitioner had to surrender on or before 2.10.2024, however for reasons beyond his control as explained in the petition, he could not surrender within time. Immediately on the petitioner returning from Mumbai where he was working, the instant application was moved soon thereafter on 4.1.2025. It is thus prayed that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.418 of 2025(2) dt.17-01-2025 2/2 time granted for the petitioner to surrender in the learned trial Court be extended by a reasonable time.

4. Heard learned APP for the State.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made together with the contents of the petition, the order dated 2.9.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 56617 of 2024 granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Mohania P.S. Case no. 158 of 2024 directing the petitioner to surrender in the learned trial Court within a period of four weeks is hereby modified to the extent that the petitioner shall surrender in connection with the said case by further period of four weeks from today. On his so surrendering, he shall be released on bail on the conditions mentioned in the aforesaid order dated 2.9.2024.

6. The order dated 2.9.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 56617 of 2024 stands modified to the above extent. The remaining part of the aforesaid order remains the same.

7. The application stands disposed of.
