2. The petitioner has filed the instant application praying for modification of the order dated 6.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.70153 of 2019 whereby it was directed that the petitioner on surrendering within a period of six weeks shall be enlarged on bail in connection with K. Hat (Sahayak) P.S Case no.291 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons beyond his control as stated in the petition, the petitioner could not surrender within the time fixed. It is further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2333 of 2025(3) dt.19-03-2025 2/2 submitted that as directed, a sum of Rs.5,000/- has been deposited with the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee vide receipt no. 2364 dated 25.2.2025 and receipt thereof has been filed.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made together with the contents of the petition, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order dated 6.3.2020.

5. The order dated 6.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.70153 of 2019 granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Khajanchi Hat (Sahayak) P.S Case no.291 of 2019 is modified to the extent that the period granted therein for the petitioner to surrender in the learned trial Court is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

6. On the petitioner so surrendering, he is directed to be enlarged on bail on the same conditions as mentioned in the order dated 6.3.2020.

7. The application stands allowed with the modification to the above extent.
