The petitioner is accused in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No.155/2019, registered under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that during course of patrolling duty two persons were seen on motorcycle. Both persons started fleeing away leaving one bag and on chase they were caught and on inquiry they disclosed their name Ram Prakash Mandal (petitioner) and Lalan Kumar Rai. On search of bag which was kept on motorcycle, 160 bottles each containing 300 ml countrymade Nepali liquor recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 15.10.2019.

No.83166 of 2019(2) dt.16-01-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Second Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Excise Act, Madhubani, in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No.155/2019.
