Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner has been selected as a PDS dealer by the Selection Committee and, thereafter, the petitioner was directed to pay the requisite fee and the petitioner has also paid the same vide Chalan (Annexure 2) but till date the authority has not taken any action to issue the license to the petitioner for running the PDS shop. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner has also submitted a representation (Annexure 3) to the authority concerned, therefore, seeks a direction from this Hon'ble Court to direct the concerned Subdivisional Officer to take necessary action on the recommendation made by the Selection Committee and issue necessary orders appointing the petitioner as a PDS dealer.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that he has no objection if the Subdivisional Officer is directed to dispose off the representation made by the petitioner and take action in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the above made submissions, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the Subdivisional Officer (Respondent No. 3) to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass necessary orders duly taking account that the petitioner has been selected for the PDS license and has also paid the requisite fee vide chalan. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (A. Abhishek Reddy , J) Shamshad/- U
