2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 4568 (C) of 2021, dated 28.09.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 323 & 504 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the complainant has alleged that he fixed the marriage of her daughter with the son of the co-accused Renu Devi on payment of Rs. 20 Lakhs as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7769 of 2024(2) dt.27-02-2024 2/3 dowry. But anyhow, the marriage could not be performed. Later on, the petitioners demanded Rs. 5 Lakhs extra for the marriage on which the complainant denied.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner no. 1 is the sister-inlaw and the petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law of the complainant's daughter and there is no specific allegation against the petitioners rather there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the allegation being general and omnibus against the petitioners, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No. 4568 (C) of 2021, subject to conditions as laid down under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7769 of 2024(2) dt.27-02-2024 3/3 Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

7. The application stands allowed.
