JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-01-2020 This writ application has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to accept nomination papers of the petitioner for him to contest Kalyanpur Harauna PACS elections.

2. A supplementary affidavit has been filed today on behalf of the petitioner stating that for want of quorum the election of the said PACS has not been held and has been postponed.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.25747 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 petitioner in that background submits that a direction may be issued to the respondents to conduct election of the said PACS at the earliest.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State Election Authority has submitted that the State Election Authority is collecting informations in respect of the PACS, for which no election could be held because of lack of quorum. Immediately after such informations are received, steps shall be taken for holding of elections.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances as noted above, this application is disposed of with the only observation that it would be expected of the State Election Authority to ensure expeditious holding of PACS elections. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) Rajesh/- U
