2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a), 32 (3) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3 . It is alleged that 342.00 liters of illicit foreign liquor was recovered from pick up van bearing registration No. BR06GC - 4037.
4. It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion . Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the vehicle in question . No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he is no way connected with the aforesaid recovery. Petitioner has got two criminal antecedents of similar nature in which one is of similar nature and claims that he is on bail in both the cases.

Considering the facts of the case , in the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise Court No. II Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise Police Station Case No. 1862 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 482( 2 ) of BNSS 2023 .
