JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 04-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 168 of 2016 for the offenses under Sections 363/366(A) of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner in this case is that he was involved in demanding Rangdari from the informant on mobile phone else to face consequences.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The petitioner is accused in six other cases in which he has been granted anticipatory/regular bail. The petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2018.
Considering the fact that there is no material to

No.84521 of 2019(4) dt.04-06-2020 2/2 suggest that Rangdari was paid to the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in custody since 18.9.2018, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Siwan in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 168 of 2016, subject to the condition that on release the petitioner shall render his services as volunteer to combat the pandemic of Covid-19 for a period of three months. He is required to report to the Civil Surgeon/ Nodal Officer, Covid-19, Siwan, who shall utilize his services appropriately.
