JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 20-11-2018 After some argument learned counsel representing the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this application with liberty to take appropriate steps under the amended provisions which perhaps permit compounding of the offence alleged against the petitioner.
This Court would not give any opinion on such views, however, it is open for the petitioner to seek his remedy in accordance with law. If such a remedy is applied for by the petitioner, the court below shall consider the same on its own merit within a reasonable period and shall dispose of the application in accordance with law within a period of 90 days.
