This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chiraiya P.S. Case No.495 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363 and 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 4/8 of the POCSO Act. 3.

Allegation against the petitioner is of abducting the victim girl. The petitioner is in custody since 30.10.2023.

During investigation, the victim girl was recovered, who in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., has stated that the petitioner had forcibly taken her to Nepal and had established sexual relationship with her. The victim girl is a minor.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1916 of 2024(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this application is accordingly rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
