The petitioner seeks bail in Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 45 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, on 03-04-2019 at about 11:50 AM, while the informant was returning his house, he was intercepted by three persons, who were on Pulsar motorcycle, and they snatched the motorcycle of the informant by attacking with knife and thereafter, fled away from the spot. It is submitted that petitioner has been named in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. However, considering the specific allegation against the petitioner as well as the fact that looted motorcycle was recovered from the possession of petitioner and criminal
