Learned Counsel for the petitioner has filed the present writ petition in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondent for payment of compensation amount to the petitioner for the land, which has been acquired by the respondent authorities and further direction to pay the petitioner an interest @ 18% per annum.

3. Counsel submits that the petitioner is litigating this

Patna High Court CWJC No.1047 of 2025(2) dt.28-01-2025 2/2 matter since long but his compensation amount has not been paid till date.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that during litigation a clear cut direction was made by this Hon'ble Court to the Collector, Aurangabad, to pass final order within a period of six months which has been acknowledged by the Bihar Land Tribunal.

5. Annexure-12 is the representation which has been filed before the Collector, Aurangabad on which no order has been passed.

6. Counsel for the State submits that a time may be fixed and in the said period the order shall be passed by the Collector, Aurangabad.

7. In this view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed off directing the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Aurangabad to pass order on the representation of the petitioner considering the merit of the case within 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
