The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali Adampur P.S. Case No. 149/2016, instituted for the offence under Section 326(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against this petitioner is of throwing acid on the informant.
Injury report is enclosed as Annexure-2 wherein doctor has found superficial injury above left wrist joint due to acid suspect. The injury has been opined to be grievous in nature. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that both parties have entered into compromise. Copy of compromise petition has been enclosed as Annexure-3. From the injury report, it appears that doctor has found superficial injury on the left wrist
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64251 of 2018 (2) dt.26-10-2018 2/2 joint and doctor has raised suspicion that injury is due to throwing of acid.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 149/2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
