2. The accused/petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and apprehended his arrest in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 151 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 385, 387, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per FIR, allegation against the petitioner is to demand a ransom of Rs. 5,00,000/- from informant and also to advance threat to his life, if failed to pay ransom

4. Mr. N.K. Agrawal, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner was a member of Panchayat Samiti, whereas informant was representative of Panchayat Mukhiya, who is his daughter. It is submitted that out of local political rivalry petitioner implicated with the present false case, whereas ransom money not appears paid to the petitioner and as per allegation, it is only case of demand. While concluding the argument it is submitted that petitioner found involved in two more cases, where he already acquitted in one case and in the other case, he is on bail.

5. Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State, opposes the prayer for bail.

In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances and by taking note of the fact as no money in furtherance of, ransom demand, prima-facie, appears paid, coupled with the fact as parties appears prima-facie in political enmity, accordingly the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Trial Court within a

No.6073 of 2025(3) dt.09-05-2025 3/3 period of four weeks, is directed to be released on bail, furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sitamarhi/concerned Trial Court where the case is pending in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 151 of 2024 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
