2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have tortured and harassed the daughter of informant as a result of which, she committed suicide.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case only on suspicion. In fact, petitioner and informant were known to each other from before and it was the other daughter of informant who called petitioner and told her to open the room of her sister (deceased) as she was not picking up her calls. Upon which, this petitioner reached there and found that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3450 of 2025(3) dt.15-04-2025 2/2 deceased has committed suicide and it was this petitioner who carried the deceased to PMCH for treatment. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that there is specific accusation that it was due to the torture and harassment committed by this petitioner, daughter of informant committed suicide. During course of investigation, it has come that time and again, on the alleged date of occurrence, this petitioner talked to the deceased through mobile phone.
6. Considering the nature and gravity of accusation, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
