JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-02-2020 The present writ petition has been filed for directing and commanding the authority concerned to make payment with interest to the petitioner for the work done by him in pursuance to the work order dated 11.08.2016, issued vide letter no. 97UB, as per the measurement and final bill dated 27.01.2017. It is further prayed that the payment for the extra work, which was got done from the petitioner on the verbal directions and assurance of the respondents be also directed to be made to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CWJC No.334 of 2020(2) dt.18-02-2020 2/2 the petitioner would be filing appropriate representation before the Registrar, Patna University, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid greivances, however, this Court may direct the learned Registrar to dispose off the representation of the petitioner within a stipulated time frame and make payment of the admitted dues, if any.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today before the respondent no. 6, who shall examine the same and pass final orders within a period of six weeks thereafter and in case any admitted dues is found payable, the same shall also be paid within a period of six weeks therefrom.

It is needless to state that if the aforesaid time frame is not adhered to, the admitted outstanding dues payable to the petitioner would carry an interest @ 9 % per annum from the date the same became due.
