Petitioner is in custody in connection with Kowakole (Rapau) P.S. Case No. 35 of 2018 for the offence under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 504, 384 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner was earlier made accused in five other criminal cases. However, he submits that in the instant case the petitioner has falsely been implicated for allegedly demanding ransom from the informant.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in custody since 20.9.2019 and other co-accused Lakhan Rajbanshi and Rajesh Yadav have

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing his personal bond to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-1st, Nawada, in connection with Kowakole (Rupau) P.S. Case No. 35 of 2018 on account of total lock-down due to Covid-19 pandemic.
