JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-01-2024 In compliance of the order of this Court dated 11.5.2018, passed in CWJC No. 5149 of 2015, the Vice Chancellor, Patna University, Patna, has already passed an order dated 11.04.2019, negating the claim of the petitioner, nonetheless, it has been directed therein that the petitioner may pray before the University for payment of the amount of GPF, Group Insurance and Leave Encashment.

It is submitted by the Ld. Counsel for the opposite parties that in pursuance to the aforesaid order dated 11.04.2019, the amount of leave encashment and group insurance has already stood paid to the petitioner and as far as payment of the GPF

Patna High Court MJC No.1993 of 2018(6) dt.11-01-2024 2/2 amount is concerned, the same would definitely be paid as soon as the petitioner complies with the requisite formalities i.e. submission of the details of his provident fund account. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is granted liberty to submit the details of his provident fund account with the Registrar, Patna University, Patna, within a period of one week from today and in case, such details are submitted, the Registrar, Patna University, Patna, shall ensure payment of the GPF amount, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.

The present contempt petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
