"I. For directing and commanding the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner to the post of Stenographer (English), pursuant to Employment Notice No. 02/2022, having placed the petitioner at appropriate place in the merit list of successful candidates selected for the appointment to the post of Stenographer (English) in Civil Courts of Bihar, under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, since the category of the petitioner is EWS and the petitioner has secured 90.76 marks, which is more than the 23 candidates, who have been selected in

Patna High Court CWJC No.214 of 2025(4) dt.18-02-2026 2/2 EWS category and their names have been published in the merit list, even the cut off marks for EWS category is 78.40.

II. Also for directing the respondents to revise the merit list of successful candidates selected for the appointment to the post of Stenographer (English) in Civil Courts of Bihar and to place the petitioner in the main merit list from the waiting list, where the name of the petitioner has been placed as Serial Number 8 under Unreserved (UR) Category.

III. Also for any other relief(s) for which the petitioner has been found legally entitled."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner having been fulfilled, he seeks permission to withdraw the instant application.

3. In view of the above, the application is dismissed as withdrawn.
