ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 04-01-2019 A letter bearing No. 227 of 2018 (kept at 'flagX') received from the Court of A.D.J.-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Katihar, has been placed before me in which the trial Court has prayed for a further extension of 7 months time to conclude the trial on the pretext that the court is over-burdened with Excise Act matter having been designated as Special Judge, Excise Act, Katihar. However, this Court feels that in view of the earlier direction of this Court, the witnesses ought to have been called for immediately and the Medical Officers who were required to be examined, should have been summoned expeditiously.
