2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 376, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Kahalgaon P.S.Case No. 1389 of 2023/S.T.No.614 of 2024.

3. According to allegation, the petitioner called the victim on Basa and committed rape upon her. The father of the victim is the informant.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, although the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in Cr.Misc.No. 51610 of 2024, but he is renewing his prayer on the ground that only one witness i.e. informant has

5. It appears that the trial is going on at snail's pace. Only one witness has been examined till date whereas the petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2024.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Bhagalpur in connection with Kahalgaon P.S.Case No. 1389 of 2023/S.T.No.614 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
