The petitioner has been in custody since13.10.2019 in connection with Kathaiya P.S. Case No. 166/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 279/337/307/506/120/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only on account of the fact that he was driving the vehicle which had met with the accident in which the informant was injured, the petitioner was mobbed and arrested by the police and has since been languishing in jail. It is further submitted that the injury report indicates the injury to be simple in nature and the petitioner is also not having any criminal antecedents. In view of the aforementioned facts and
