The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Chand P.S. Case No. 275/2017, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the written report, it is alleged that the daughter of the informant was married with the petitioner on 18.05.2014. She was being tortured in her Sasural for non-fulfillment of demand of motorcycle and golden chain. It is further alleged that this petitioner had illicit relationship with his Bhabhi, Meena Devi. The informant has alleged that for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, the petitioner always used to give threat to kill his daughter and on 5.12.2017, this petitioner with other accused persons caused death of his daughter by setting her on fire.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41988 of 2018 (4) dt.03-08-2018 2/2 Case diary has been received in this case.

The witnesses have stated in different paragraphs of the case diary that the deceased was being tortured in her Sasural. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and pray for regular bail, which shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
