2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 25(1)(A), 25(1)AA, 25(6), 25(7), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, co-accused Deepak Upadhyay was apprehended with one country-made pistol and five live cartridges, who confessed that he brought these arms & ammunition from the house of co-accused Md. Faisal @ Taufiq. On this information, the house of co-accused Md. Faisal was searched and huge arms & ammunition were recovered and the apprehended co-accused Md. Faisal disclosed that arms in question were manufactured and repaired by this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no arms or ammunition has been recovered from possession of this petitioner and has been made accused only on confessional statement of co-accused Md. Faisal. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender before the Court below within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 284 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
