This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Karta P.S. Case No.219 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 80 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is said to have killed his wife. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2024.

At the outset, learned counsel for the informant has submitted that in the trial three witnesses have been examined and three more witnesses are left to be examined.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and also the fact that the trial is proceeding, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
