====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 354(B), 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, when niece of the informant went to coaching, on the way, co-accused Abhishek Manjhi caught her hand and misbehaved with her and when informant went to the house of co-accused Abhishek Manjhi to complain, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6258 of 2025(4) dt.22-07-2025 2/3 petitioners assaulted informant by means of iron rod, dabiya, lathi as a result of which she sustained injury. It is further alleged that co-accused Pinki Kumari also snatched gold chain.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that specific accusation of causing grievous injury is against coaccused Samim Manjhi, Sachin Manjhi and Lalu Manjhi. So far these petitioners are concerned, injury allegedly caused by them is simple in nature. Case and counter case. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused, namely, Samim Manjhi and Lalu Manjhi have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 04.02.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 308 of 2025. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Mufassil
