The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2019, pending in the Court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Birpur, registered under Sections 341, 323, 324 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that when Guriya Devi, daughter-inlaw of the informant, was going to attend the call of nature, petitioner, along with his two unknown associates, caught hold her and caused injury through sharp cutting weapon. On hearing hulla, Naraian Choudhary, son of the informant, Laxmi Narain Choudhary, reached there and saw the petitioner fleeing away from there. Thereafter, his daughter-in-law was rushed to Government Hospital, Simrahi, Raghopur, Supaul, from where she was referred to Saharsa.

No.82792 of 2019(2) dt.13-12-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. The prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below and seek regular bail, which will be considered on its own merit and without being prejudiced of this order.
