2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 457 of 2015 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 342, 307, 353, 427, 212 of the Indian Penal Code, under Section 3⁄4 of the Indian Explosive Substance Act and under Section 17 of the CLA Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, on secret informant, when the police raided the place, the recovery is of four mobile sets, four can bombs, five live cartridges and one blank cartridge.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 27.06.2025 in a case which has been registered in the year 2015. He is accused

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an absconder, the antecedent of the petitioner and the nature of allegation levelled against him, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
