2. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 461 of 2024 arising out of L.N.M. University P.S. Case No. 296 of 2023 registered for the offence under section 302/201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.5.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18529 of 2024.

3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased was killed by her own brothers including the petitioner as she was suspected to be having illicit relationship with other persons.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 2.10.2023 and till date out of eleven witnesses, only one witness has been examined though charges have been framed on 9.11.2024.

5. Considering the delay in trial and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-X, Darbhanga/concerned Court below in connection with Sessions Trial No. 461 of 2024 arising out of LNMU P.S. Case No. 296 of 2023

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to co-operate in the trial either by appearing personally or through his lawyer in the trial Court on each and every date fixed by the trial Court. Non-compliance of the condition will result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioner.
