The matter, therefore, has been listed today for consideration through Video Conferencing. Learned counsels are appearing and making submissions from their residence. The Court Master and Secretary are also part of this virtual Court proceedings with the aid of audio visual technology.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent-State.

The petitioner is stated to be a retired Chaukidar after

Patna High Court CWJC No.859 of 2020(3) dt.23-06-2020 2/2 exercising his option for voluntary retirement. It is submitted that retiral dues of the petitioner have not been paid. It is submitted that the petitioner has submitted his detailed claim to the District Magistrate, Gaya on 17.01.2019 (Annexure 1), but no action has been taken by the Authority.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No 5 (District Magistrate, Gaya) to consider the claim of the petitioner, pay the admissible dues and also provide to the petitioner details of calculation in support of the amounts found due and admissible to the petitioner. In case any claim is denied, the same to be supported by reasoned order under due communication to the petitioner.

Let the entire exercise be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
