A very limited prayer has been made by the petitioner that the selection was to be made of Anganwari Sevika for Ward No.1 of Village Panchmahala, Block Khijarsarai in the district of Gaya reserved for the scheduled castes.
The advertisement was published, in pursuance thereof, the petitioner also filled up the form but, till date, no selection process has been conducted as the Aam Sabha could not be organized though it was fixed on 5.12.2017, 12.12.2017 and 19.6.2018 respectively. On all the dates, the villagers have assembled but, the Aam Sabha was not conducted.
Patna High Court CWJC No.12713 of 2018 dt.06-09-2018 2/2 A prayer has been made for a direction to hold Aam Sabha. In that view of the matter, this Court directs that the Aam Sabha should be held and whosoever is the competent person should be appointed as Anganwari Sevika.
All the facts in this order have been recorded on the basis of statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
