The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 147, 363, 366A and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that the allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature and there is contradiction in the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. and the FIR. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 27.09.2019. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1557 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 171 of 2019.
