JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-02-2025 Heard Mr. Manish Chandra Gandhi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Shahabuddin Azeem @ S. Azeem, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case No. 86/2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act.

3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, 180 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the place of occurrence from where petitioner allegedly managed to escape.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is innocent and has falsely

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail and submitted that petitioner has six criminal antecedents and out of which, three is under Excise Act.

6. Considering the nature of allegation, as well as, the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the present bail application stands dismissed.
