1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to GA-11 for the State.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in the event if the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Circle Officer, Dumariya, Sub-Division of Sherghati, Gaya is directed to conclude the proceedings of Encroachment Case No. 20 of 2020-2021 within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State also does not dispute the said submission of the learned

Patna High Court CWJC No.919 of 2025(2) dt.24-04-2025 2/2 counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, but then submits that it might be a possibility that the Encroachment Case No. 20 of 2020-2021 may have been disposed of by the Circle Officer, Dumariya, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner asserts and submits that Encroachment Case No. 20 of 2020-2021 till date is pending adjudication.

The Court, without going into the merits of the case, dispose of the writ application with a direction to the Circle Officer, Dumariya, Sub-Division of Sherghati, Gaya to conclude the proceedings of Encroachment Case No. 20 of 2020-2021 within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law and after giving proper opportunity of hearing to all the concerned involved in the said encroachment proceeding, if not already concluded earlier.
