Petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.970 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Case is under Section 498A of the IPC. Petitioners happen to be in-laws of the complainant.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82799 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 that the husband of the complainant has already been granted conditional bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this court, vide order dated 18.12.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.83781 of 2019. Heard learned A.P.P. and the learned counsel for the informant, who has opposed the prayer for bail . Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-5, Kaimur (Bhabua) in connection with Complaint Case No.970 o 2019, Registration No.

970 of 2019, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure with further condition that they will not hamper the settlement or mediation between the parties and also will not create any hurdle in arriving at any reasonable settlement.. With the above direction, this application is allowed.
