The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he was provided 2821 quintals of paddy and for that he was to give 1890.07 quintals rice till 31.07.2019 to BSFC but he deposited only 1620 quintals CMR (rice) to BSFC and rest rice or the price of rice was misappropriated by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already paid Rs.2,50,000/- out of Rs.3,50,000/-. The petitioner is

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs.1,00,000/- within a period of six weeks from today, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Sherghati (Gaya) in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No.200 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is made clear that the learned court below shall accept the bail bond of the petitioner after verifying the fact that the petitioner has paid the said amount to the BSFC. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J.) Sanjay/- U T
