2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 307, 384 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Earlier, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner was rejected by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 21.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 274 of 2024.

4. As per the prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence, this petitioner, along with some unknown persons, entered into house of the informant and made indiscriminate firing, due to which family members locked

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5015 of 2025(3) dt.25-04-2025 2/3 themselves in a room. It is further alleged that this petitioner also threatened the grandson of the informant and demanded ransom of Rs. 10,00,000/-.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. It is further submitted that vide dated 07.01.2021 passed by the learned Additional District Judge-1, Jhanjharpur in S.T. No. 125 of 2020, charges have already been framed against this petitioner and there is no chance of absconding or tampering with the evidence. Petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2019.

6. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

7. Considering the nature of accusation, fact that charges have already been framed and period of custody, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is allowed.

8. Accordingly, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. District and Sessions Judge-I, Jhanjharpur in connection with S.R. No. 125 of 2020 corresponding to G.R. No. 125 of 2014 arising out of Laukahi
