The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No.568 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/324/326/307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner allegedly fired thrice causing injury at the face and chest of the informant.

Submission is that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the seriousness of the allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused. However, in the event of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59596 of 2018(2) dt.02-11-2018 2/2 surrender of the petitioner within three weeks, the prayer for regular bail shall be disposed of without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
