1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sasaram (Town) P.S. Case No. 158 of 2024 dated 14.02.2024 registered under Section 341, 323, 504, 307, 379, 34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the F.I.R. lodged by the informant Rina Devi stating therein that on 13.02.2024 at about 2:00 P.M. Laxman Kumar removed keys from the motorcycle of her cousin upon which hot exchange of words took place and her cousin started abusing and assaulting with fists and slaps. Thereafter the brother of the informant Nand Kishore Bansal arrived to pacify the quarrel, in the meanwhile, the petitioner and five other accused persons gathered there and assaulted Arjun Bansal, Sameer Kumar, Nand Kishore Bansal and Punita Kumari with 'lathi', 'danda', iron rod due to which they sustained injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is case and counter case between the parties and the present case is a counter blast of Sasaram (T) P.S. Case No. 159 of 2024. The injuries sustained by the victims are simple in nature. The allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature.

5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that petitioner is having five criminal antecedents. Four persons have sustained injuries out of which injuries sustained by Arjun Bansal and Sameer Kumar are simple in nature and injuries sustained by Nand Kishore Bansal and Punita Kumari are on head and opinion of the doctor regarding nature of injury has been reserved.

6. Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties, taking into consideration the nature of the allegation and the fact that petitioner is having five criminal antecedent , accordingly, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.
