2. Though this writ petition has been filed challenging the order of dismissal (Annexure-P/6 to the writ petition), the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an appeal on 23.04.2024 before the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna/ respondent No. 2 which may be directed to be disposed off.

3. The appeal dated 23.04.2024, stated to have been filed before the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna/ respondent No. 2, has been annexed as AnnexureP/7 to the writ petition.

4. Though it has not been indicated in the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Director General of Police,

Patna High Court CWJC No.1714 of 2025(2) dt.30-01-2025 2/2 Patna, as to under which provision the same has been filed, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is an statutory appeal filed under Bihar Police Manual.

5. The prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner has not been opposed by the learned State counsel.

6. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this writ petition is hereby disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 2/ the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna to dispose off the appeal dated 23.04.2024 filed by the petitioner against the order of dismissal passed against the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law, and in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.

7. The writ petition is disposed off with the above direction.
