The petitioner has participated in the process of selection for the post of Assistant in the Secretariat. She had approached this Court with a grievance in C.W.J.C. No. 3932 of 2019 that requisite information has not been supplied regarding cut-off marks. This Court directed as follows:- "3. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to make a representation before the

On receipt of such representation, the Secretary of the Commission shall look into the matter and shall pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed off." The petitioner, thereafter, has approached the Authority, and the Secretary of the respondent- Commission has passed a reasoned order. The petitioner's rank is at 15836, whereas the candidates of general category, Backward Category as well as Women Backward Category, who have been selected were having a much higher cut-off, which is apparent from the post wise/ category wise cut-off rank, which has been annexed as Annexure- 10 to the counter affidavit.

In the column meant for the petitioner's category i.e., Women Backward Category candidates, at Annexure- 10/1, candidates, who has been appointed as an Auditor Finance, in the Audit Department was at rank 4250. No one below this rank in the women Backward Category has been selected, as is apparent from the counter affidavit filed by the respondents. In view of the fact that the cut-off for selection in the petitioner's claimed category of Women BC (WBC) was much

The assertions in the counter affidavit, noted above, also have not been rejoined by the petitioner by filing any reply or rejoinder. No case is made out for issuance of any direction. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
