Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Muzaffarpur P.S. Case No. 407 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 392 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant has alleged that he along with his colleague Manishankar Ranjan were going to deposit Rs. 4,00,000/-, four miscreants on two motorcycles came and looted the amount on the strength of pistol and fled away. Name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confession made by one Murari Kumar and on said confession house of the petitioner was raided and it has been alleged that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.68872 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 Rs. 78,000/- of looted amount was recovered from his house. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. He had also produced two receipt showing that the money was the sale proceeds of goods sold by father of the petitioner. He has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 17.06.2018.
Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Muzaffarpur Sadar P.S.
