Petitioner is in custody in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 485 of 2018 for the offence under sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has been made accused in this case on account of theft in a jewellery shop and except for the bad antecedent, there is nothing to connect this petitioner in the commission of crime. There is allegation that the petitioner has looted the jewellery on pistol point. He was not named in the FIR.
The petitioner is in custody since 24.5.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner was not named in the FIR and he has remained in custody since 24.5.2019, the

No.85813 of 2019(5) dt.04-06-2020 2/2 Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Rupaspur P.S. Case No. 485 of 2018 subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be government employee and further that the petitioner on release has to render his service as volunteer to combat Covid-19 for a period of one month in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the district Civil Surgeon/Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
