The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No.425 of 2019/Special Case No.9804 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 50 liters country made liquor from the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is lady and has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner had no knowledge about keeping the illicit liquor by her family members in the house. The petitioner is in custody since 06.11.2019.

No.85182 of 2019(2) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge Excise, Patna, in connection with Special Case No.9804 of 2019, arising out of Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No.425 of 2019.
