The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 21 of 2019, registered under Sections 498A, 494, 323, 341, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The accusation is of torturing of the informant by her in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of cash of rupees two lakh through various modes and compelled to leave her matrimonial house.

Submission is that due to misunderstanding the informant, who is wife of the petitioner, has lodged the present case. The petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full dignity.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 21 of 2019 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Supaul.
