2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 157 of 2024, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 354, 382, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 01.04.2024, while the informant was returning home after harvesting her crop, 7-8 armed men arrived with a tractor and forcibly loaded wheat and mustard from her field. Co-accused Amit Kumar and Pappu Yadav allegedly misbehaved with her, snatched 15,000/-, co-accused Shankar Yadav and Sintu Yadav ₹ tore her saree. It is further alleged that co-accused Mukesh Yadav threatened her at gunpoint, demanding a ransom of 5 ₹ lakhs and threatened her of dire consequences.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner has committed no offence. It is further submitted that there is a land dispute between the parties due to which the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody since 19.04.2025 and has got four criminal antecedents.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 157 of 2024 subject to the following conditions: (I) One of the bailors shall be own/close member of the family of the petitioner.
