Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised in the present writ application is no more res integra as this Court had occasion to decide the issue vide judgment dated 23.06.2017 passed in LPA No. 167 of 2016 (Avinash Kumar Chakerworty & others Vs. The State of Bihar & others).

In view of the judgment dated 23.06.2017 passed in LPA No. 167 of 2016 (Avinash Kumar Chakerworty & others Vs. The State of Bihar & others), this writ application is also disposed of with direction to the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioners and grant similar benefits to the petitioners in terms of the State Litigation Policy, 2011. With the aforesaid, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
