The petitioner seeks bail in Barahiya P.S. Case No.143 of 2018 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The S.H.O., Barahiya police station intercepted a person going on a motorcycle near Vimal line hotel and he disclosed that he had purchased the motorcycle from Kanhaiya Kumar, the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that stolen motorcycle was recovered from the possession of Raju Vishwakarma and he is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner. Petitioner did not sell any stolen motorcycle to the co-accused. Raju Vishwakarma has already been granted bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No.70690 of 2018.

No.73686 of 2018(2) dt.12-12-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Barahiya P.S. Case No.143 of 2018.
