Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1b)a/26 of the Arms Act. Allegation is recovery of one country made pistol from the possession of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has committed no offnce. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 09.10.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85400 of 2019(2) dt.07-01-2020 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, after completing six months of the custody, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for grant of bail.
