Petitioner is in custody in connection with Chakmeshi PS Case No. 67 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 120B, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2018.
Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is a student as stated in paragraph-9 of this application and that he is in custody since 02.07.2018 having no criminal antecedent, the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.72418 of 2018(3) dt.10-01-2019 2/2 petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Chakmeshi PS Case No. 67 of 2018 subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be teacher of the petitioner.
While granting bail to the petitioner this Court directs the court below to take steps for expeditious conclusion of the trial by completing all formalities and in case the petitioner creates any impediment in speedy disposal of the case, the court below is granted liberty to cancel the bail bonds.
